Meet Tyler Scherer, the Vertical Drama Actor Who Will Steal Your Heart

Tyler Scherer has the kind of handsome looks that make him perfect for romance roles, but did you know he studied musical theater? Let’s find out more about him and his micro-dramas.

Although vertical miniseries are still not considered part of mainstream media, these short stories can accumulate thousands and even millions of views. This is because the stories are addictive, easy to understand, and readily available through several dedicated apps. They’re also designed for phones, which makes them even more accessible.

Tyler Scherer is one of the actors consistently participating in this new type of content, and it’s easy to see why fans keep watching his work. With rugged features and piercing blue-gray eyes, this leading man makes any romantic moment seem even better.

Tyler Scherer’s Background

Standing at 6’1″ and weighing 180 lbs., Scherer was definitely born to be a leading actor. That seemed to be his plan, as he got a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theater from Point Park University in Pennsylvania, meaning he trained in singing and dancing.

Just like any competitive career, sometimes you have to find the place where you belong. This born-and-raised Californian has been steadily starring in micro-dramas since 2024.

According to IMDb, he has been in over 20 productions so far. As this type of short-form content gains popularity, Scherer is bound to have more opportunities.

Tyler Scherer’s Life Off-Camera

Outside of acting, Scherer is also a great ice-skater and loves rollerblading. Although his roles often make him look tough and commanding, the actor is known for being a caring uncle to his nephew and niece.

He remains active on Instagram, where he often posts shots at the beach, by the pool, and hanging out with his friends. Some of these images show off his impressive and toned physique to his nearly 40,000 followers.

Tyler Scherer’s Vertical Dramas

One of Scherer’s dramas from 2024 was “Lady Boss Takes on Vegas Bullies,” where he plays Lawrence, a CEO married to Jane, the chairwoman of Seventh Heaven Casino in Las Vegas. After finding out that the business was getting sued for employee abuse, the chairwoman goes undercover as a janitor, Rita, to investigate the claims.

Soon enough, she realizes the culprit is Candace, the general manager, who even locks her up in a basement at one point. Eventually, even Jane’s husband goes undercover to help find evidence to expose Candace.

Another drama you can’t miss is “My Sister’s Wedding,” where Scherer plays Tate, a billionaire who needs a date to his sister’s wedding, so he hires an escort, Piper.

They spend a steamy night together and start dating for real. But things get complicated when a woman from Tate’s past returns and others find out Piper’s real identity. Eventually, Tate ghosts her. But… she is pregnant with his child.

“DILFS” is a great option for anyone who likes to see who-will-she-choose stories. A single mom, Jordan, and her daughter move to a new town after running away from an abusive ex.

When she joins a single-parent support group, Jordan meets Eli, Landon, and Mason (played by Scherer), who are three single hot dads that fight for her attention and help out when they can.

In “Ex-Husband Step Aside: Lady Boss Returns,” Scherer plays the role of Andrew, who is in a contract marriage with Callie. Everyone in his circle treats her poorly, including a woman named Justine who seems to be in love with Andrew.

When the Skyline Mall falls, everyone believes Callie pushed Justine into the debris, and even when she exposes the deception, they keep treating her poorly. Eventually, Callie divorces her husband and focuses on her career.

It’s then revealed that Callie is an architect and part of a wealthy family that has been rivals with Andrew’s for years. So, she sends Andrew an invitation to a party where she plans to get her payback.

Be sure to also check out “Chasing Kiarra,” a werewolf romance story in which Scherer plays Aidan, the alpha of his pack. Kiarra is supposed to become his mate, although she doesn’t want to. Still, she gets entangled deeper in his world, and her supernatural past comes to the surface.

The actor’s other vertical dramas include: “Coaching His Heart,” “My Knockout Fake Husband,” “Mafia King’s Missing Wife Back with Twins,” “I Kissed a CEO, and He Liked It,” “To Be by My Side,” and so many others.

Now that you know more about Tyler Scherer, are you ready to start watching his micro-dramas? You won’t regret it.
