Born on September 13, 1994, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, this 6’3″ actor played ice hockey and football throughout high school, going so far as to become a defensive end football player for the Wyoming Cowboys, a Division I team from the University of Wyoming.
Unfortunately, Edeen was born with just one kidney, something he only discovered during his sophomore season, which led to his retirement. Once he graduated from college, he worked in civil engineering until his move to Southern California in 2019.
That’s where he found his passion and began modeling while taking acting classes. In 2021, he studied at the Shari Shaw Studios, and in 2023, he was training in the Mesiner technique at Baron Brown.
In an August 2024 interview with ReelShort, he revealed that he lives on Venice Beach, which is a huge dream for him. He also answered some questions about himself, like how he’s a Virgo and his spirit animal is a dog because he would describe himself as friendly, brave, loyal, protective, etc.
“I like to think I’m a very friendly guy. I get along with people pretty well. I’m not very confrontational. I’m not out there yapping and whatnot; I want to get along,” he added.
Edeen also revealed that his favorite color is blue because of his eyes and the ocean. When asked about the thing he can’t live without these days, he said his basketball shoes.
“I recently moved into a new house in Venice, and there’s a basketball court right down the street. My roommate, my friends, and I love to go play basketball. We play at least once or sometimes twice a week,” he explained.
Vertical drama fans would also be pleased to learn that he’s a hopeless romantic, although it’s not something he dreams about often. Edeen simply has an image of his future wife and family.
He said, “I’m just focusing on being the best actor I can be right now, and one day when I find the perfect girlfriend, wife, and family, everything will just fall into place.”
Although he’s super fit and a former athlete, he loves eating treats, like Crumbl Cookies and cheesecake. However, he doesn’t like to order takeout, choosing instead to cook at home or go out to dinner with friends.
If he hadn’t become an actor, he believes he would have remained an athlete. Finding out about his medical condition completely changed the course of his life, which is why he’s thankful now to be playing athletic roles in some of his vertical dramas.
“My dream job would be to be an All-Pro defensive end in the NFL or a Vezina-winning goalie in the NHL. It would be cool to be a really good shooting guard in the NBA, too. So yeah, definitely a professional athlete,” Edeen shared.

In “Found A Homeless Billionaire Husband for Christmas,” Edeen plays Simon Jones, a man pretending to be a homeless person. He ends up married to Victoria, played by Mattox, who has just been dumped and made a rash decision to commit to a penniless person to help him out.
Although it’s an unconventional marriage, the couple gets along great, especially as they face the man who wronged Victoria together. But eventually, his real identity as the CEO of Savage Group will shock everyone and possibly affect their relationship.
Mattox and Edeen had already collaborated on “Breaking the Ice,” a story based on the novel “Shutout” by Jami Davenport. The main female lead, Caroline, broke up with her boyfriend, Easton, years earlier, never telling him that she was pregnant.
He went on to become a hockey star. When she’s hired for a new job, they reunite, and old feelings plus the truth about their child will surface.
During an episode of “ReelTalk” in December 2024, both Edeen and Mattox talked about the doors that have been opening for them since this vertical drama reached over 200 million views. They have gotten auditions for roles on Netflix and Hulu and calls to work with many brands.
Edeen also shared that as soon as he saw the breakdown for the story, he knew the role was meant for him. “You’re not going to find a single person in this town who’s better at this role than me,” he told the casting team.
During the show, Edeen also cleared up that he and Mattox are just friends, as it’s a common fan question. The duo was seen together in another micro-drama, “How to Kiss a Vampire,” a story about a woman who unknowingly dated a vampire and got pregnant.
