Hannah Lowery is the kind of micro-drama actress with enough talent and potential to transition between different genres and formats. Let’s get to know her and some of her projects!
Vertical dramas have become important spaces for many actors to find consistent work while building their resumes and pursuing their career goals. The best part is that this format is being produced on an international scale, and it doesn’t look like a trend that will fade away easily.
Hannah Lowery is finding her niche in these quick but addictive stories, while also maintaining an active social media presence and taking classes to continue her passions.
Hannah Lowery’s Experience
Lowery was born on July 21, 2006. She is 5’6″ and has blonde hair and blue eyes. As a child, the Los Angeles-based actress knew she was drawn to the arts and began participating in dance competitions as well as theater.
On a video from December 2023, Lowery showed herself getting ready for a casting call while talking about her decision to get into this field.
“I started acting in like middle school. I was doing theater for a really long time, and I did my first ever play, which was ‘The Jungle Book,’ and I was Bagheera,” she revealed. “I love that. I’ll never forget about that play. I had this whole solo part. I was like, ‘Ooh, I really should move into the theater world.'”
Soon enough, Lowery craved being center stage, whether it was in leading roles, dancing, or singing, eventually earning accolades for her show choir presence.
“After middle school, I started loving film and Hollywood and acting, so I’m like, ‘This is what I want to do.’ I started looking into agencies, getting headshots, all that stuff,” she continued.
Lowery also spoke about the difficulties of being a child actor and how many other kids she was up against in auditions. The clip also emphasized her love for dancing and singing.
“I started competition dance when I was around three years old, and I’ve been doing it forever,” the actress added. “I love performing, I love entertaining, I love dancing, I love acting. I honestly really like singing, but I’m really weird about posting my singing on the internet, which I probably should stop being a wimp about.”
Aside from acting, singing, and dancing, she has also modeled. She collaborated with brands like Koosh, Six Flags, MOWI, and Blue Buffalo on commercial campaigns.
On September 21, 2025, she told Vertical Drama Love that she had been in the acting industry for five years. However, Lowery said she has been working on micro-dramas every day since 2024.
Several of those projects were created with Dhar Mann Studios, and she has been in both supporting and leading roles in many of these miniseries.
